When any candidate receives an invite from the provincial nomination program of Ontario there will be an automatic increase of 600 points to their CRS score.
However on June 1 Ontario invited around 986 Express Entry candidates that had scores as low as 300 t apply for the provincial nomination. Through the Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream many eligible candidates were invited by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).
The scores of the invited candidates in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) were between 300 to 379 that had submitted their profiles between June 1 2020 and June 1 2021.
When the invited candidates had received the nomination then the next step would be that they would receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) by the Express Entry draw for a permanent residence only because all the Express Entry candidates who received this nomination from the enhanced Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) would get an additional of 600 CRS scores that would be added to their score.
