The CRS score requirement comes down to 39 points as compared to the previous PNP-specific draw.
Canada has invited around 500 Express Entry candidates on May 26 to apply for permanent residence.
All the Express Entry candidates should have a nomination form from the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in order to be invited . their minimum score requirement was 713 because they would have received 600 points automatically as a result of the PNP. The lowest scoring candidate will have a score of 113 without the nomination.
The previous PNP- only draw invited 57 lesser candidates as compared to the previous one with the requirement of the score being dropped to 39 points.
As an administrative requirement the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) publishes a cutoff time for the tie – break rule regardless of whether there was an actual tie. In the new draw, candidates who had the minimum score were only invited if they submitted their Express Entry profile before April 06, 2021
