In the year 2021 there have been around 68,317 candidates that have been invited and these number of invitations this year has been overtaking the last year’s rate. The reason for this could be due to the IRCC holding larger draws which sometimes goes up to 6,000. Also the IRCC invited every single CEC candidate to apply for permanent residence on February 13.
